FARM BUREAU BIO
Farm Bureau is a talented trio from Pelham, New York, seamlessly blending roots rock, alt-country, bluegrass, and honky-tonk to create a distinctive Americana sound. Rooted in tradition, the band crafts an "old-timey" sound that feels contemporary and fresh.
Led by singer-songwriter Warren Banholzer, the band delivers energetic performances characterized by compelling rhythms and powerful vocals. Warren sings with a deep tenor voice, drawing audiences in with his evocative storytelling. He is also a skilled picker on acoustic guitar and mandolin, adding melodic and rhythmic depth to the band's sound.
The ensemble features Mike Dvorkin on guitar, whose masterful work on the Telecaster weaves around Warren’s powerful melodies, adding texture and drive. Lalit Loomba anchors the group on double bass, providing foundational grooves that enhance their musical richness. Warren also drives the band's signature rhythmic pulse with his custom-crafted foot drums, which include a suitcase kick, snare, and a instrument he made of old license plates, all creating a unique percussive element that fuels their up-tempo numbers. Matt Dean joined on drums and vocals in 2025 to round out the group.
These four talented and experienced musicians have been performing as a group for about a year and are extremely tight. They’ve quickly become a favorite at festivals, bars, breweries, and various venues throughout the New York area. The group performs a mix of compelling originals alongside their crafty interpretations of rock, country, and Americana favorites, giving familiar songs a fresh and exciting twist. Their well-crafted originals instantly hook the listener and their covers sound like as much like a Farm Bureau number as they do the original.
With a growing discography and a reputation for engaging live shows, Farm Bureau continues to captivate audiences, add fans and offer a fresh take on traditional American music genres.

Warren's Bio
I grew up on a farm in the Midwest. Those were special times. Top 40 hits from WLS in Chicago radiated my brain early but I was saved by the live folk music my dad booked at the winery we ran. Finding real music and discovering punk and the sounds of alt-country filled in the rest. My music pulls from life as well as fiction. My sets include originals which tend to be more roots than rock and spans 50 years of music. I try to put my own personality and style into every song whether it's mine or someone else's. I'm thrilled to be able to share my music doing live shows throughout the community including donating performances to non-profit events whenever I can. My love of music is only surpassed by my love for my wife and family.
